Introducing the 12×16 Cabin Tent by Kodiak Canvas. Kodiak Canvas 12×16 Cabin Tent (Stove Ready) tent, measures 12×16. Crafted from premium Hydra-Shield™, 100% cotton duck canvas, it offers unparalleled performance. This material’s dense weave combined with a silicone coating ensures it remains waterproof while still allowing the fabric to breathe. This significantly reduces the buildup of condensation and humidity often found in synthetic tents. The floor is constructed from durable 13.5 oz vinyl with welded seams, ensuring no moisture penetrates the tent.
With a peak height of 7.5 feet and vertical walls extending 4 feet high, the tent’s design maximizes interior space, offering ample headroom and the ability to move around comfortably. Equipped with two large doors, access is straightforward and doesn’t require stooping. Its nine expansive windows enhance the feeling of openness and ensure superb airflow. These windows are operable from within and are fitted with fine no-see-um mesh screens to exclude even the tiniest of insects. To maintain ventilation during rain, there’s a storm window and additional vents that allow for air circulation without letting water in. All doors and windows are secured with premium YKK zippers for reliability.
Structurally, the tent is supported by a frame made of 1-inch, galvanized steel tubing, engineered to withstand harsh weather conditions including strong winds and snow. For colder climates, a stove jack is integrated for a wood-burning stove, with an option to seal it off when not in use. Enhance your tent’s space with the optional 8×8 ft. enclosed awning (model 1672, sold separately), perfect for additional shelter or storage. This accessory can be attached to one or both ends of the tent. Included with the tent are a zippered storage bag and robust 12-inch steel stakes. Setting up this tent is a two-person job. It comes with a limited lifetime warranty, ensuring peace of mind with your investment.
